GUEST SPEAKER
SANDY COLLIER
The Club was treated to a great look into the life and career of one of THE WORLD's PREMIER Reined Cow Horse riders! When asked, "When did you first know of your love for horses", Sandy responded by saying, "WHEN MY FIRST CELLS BEGAN DIVIDING!"
Sandy's presentation included a historical review OF California Vaqueros and how their working conditions were conducive to the development of what has become modern day equipment, horse training, and herding techniques.
As a renowned trainer and writer in the field, Sandy explained a few of her unique philosophies, that have connections to ALL of our lives and careers:
1) Failure is a integral part of SUCCESS....you can't have one without the other.
2) Knowing that you WILL ALWAYS FAIL at some point.....ALWAYS FAIL FORWARD!
3) If you execute 1 DEGREE of "POSITIVE COURSE CHANGE" PER DAY, over the long haul you will
eventually grow exponentially!
4) Achieving just 1% of IMPROVEMENT PER DAY will in 100 Days, result in 100% IMPROVEMENT.
ANOTHER EXCELLENT SPEAKER PRESENTATION
