THE ROTATOR

BE THE INSPIRATION
Dear Fellow Rotarians,

Super Bowl Sunday ended with a big bang yesterday. The Patriots took in another win and tied the record for most Super Bowl wins. We can call it luck—right place, right time, playing the right team. And even if it really was luck, the Patriots had to be ready to seize the opportunity. They had to grind it out game after game just to get to the Super Bowl.

The greatest athletes practice their sport over and over until it becomes a habit. They do the same drills over and over ad nauseum. Grinding it out isn’t sexy. It’s day in and day out practicing and doing the things that most people aren’t willing to do. It’s making the calls you don’t want to make, it’s showing up, and being willing to be uncomfortable.

As Rotarians, we’re in a unique position to be able to do extraordinary things. Next month our club will be giving away over $25,000 in community grants along with another +$25,000 raised for the Veteran’s Treatment Court. Where can we make the greatest impact on our community? Applications are due a month from today, on Tuesday, March 4th. I encourage you to sponsor an organization that you feel passionate about! Let’s make the most of the money that we worked so hard to raise and give back to the organizations that need it most.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me directly at michelle@searchlightproperties.com... … and in the meantime, Dare to be EXTRAordinary!

Yurs, Michelle
