THE ROTATOR

BE THE INSPIRATION
Dear Fellow Rotarians,

We had another successful Adopt-a-Road cleanup party!!  Thank you all for making our Adopt-a-Road a success!  Big thanks to all of us in attendance:

Yvonne Biely    Barb Blanchard     Terri Lee Coleman     Ken Dally       Fred Donati      Scott Dunn      Rick Ellison           Ruben Escobedo       Ron Nanning   Virginia Souza  Heather Weare ME - Michelle        James Stoddard       Dr. Bob Curry

In line with our theme for the year, “Be the Inspiration,” I hope you find this week’s message inspiring: Don’t downgrade you dream just to fit your reality, upgrade your reality to match your destiny.  Thomas Edison is quoted as saying, “If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves.”  … Literally astound ourselves!!
This year, I’m on a mission to read 10 most inspiring biographies with a few girlfriends.  The current reading is Howard Schultz, Starbucks CEO’s, “Pour Your Heart into it.”  In his book, he never pretends to have had all of the answers or even be that smart.  He just set out on a mission with a great big, giant dream.  And that’s really all it takes.  Simple—not easy.  A big dream and a commitment to see it through, all while taking baby steps and figuring it out along the way.  Don’t be afraid to chase your dreams.  We might actually astound ourselves.
Tomorrow we are dark for the 5th Tuesday and this Sunday is Super Bowl Sunday.  Virginia is hosting Rotary Super Bowl Sunday at her house again this year.  More information is included in the Rotator and we’ll get another reminder out this week.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please feel free to email me directly at michelle@searchlightproperties.com... … and in the meantime, Dare to be Your Awesome-est!
Yurs, Michelle
