July 16th EXEMPTION BADGE PRESENTATION
BOB FRIAS
As Bob indicated a few months back, it took over 18-YEARS before he pulled the right drawing ticket to get the Exemption Badge. Three months later, Bob returned to the Exemption Badge lectern for the THIRD TIME, but as we have learned in the previous two presentations, Bob knows how to keep our attention with his great stories from his past. This month, Bob shared his 1978 and 2016 trips to Germany and the impressions left on him from his visit to the Holocaust Museum.

"FINE-MASTER" KEN DALLY
FINES, BRAGS AND "RAT-OUTS"
The "wind was taken from Ken's sails" on this day as THERE WERE NO Birthdays and NO Anniversaries to "ding" Members for. BUT, there was time for the now-famous.....
Rotary Magazine Quiz:
The Club was asked, "WHAT CITY was prominently mentioned in this month's Rotary Magazine?"
Linda Gantt and Jamie Stoddard BOTH DID NOT KNOW and each coughed up $10 into the Club treasury.
(Answer: Chicago)
BRAGS
Peter Lopez bragged that his nephew and nephew's cousin (that would be Peter's First Cousin???) both took singing honors at the recent Elks Rodeo Talent Contest.
Peter extended his Brag by stating his new diet and exercise regiment has resulted in his achieving the weight he sported as a high school student, 158 lbs. CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL THREE BRAGS!!!
Peter tossed another $50 into the treasury for his Brags!!!!!
